From 2 Euros a Day on my first job in Kenya to a Finnish Nurse Salary working in Finland

Working in Kenya vs working in Finland, how big is the difference with salaries? How much does a nurse earn working in Finland compared to Kenya? In this video, i share personal story about the salary i earned from my first ever job working in Kenya as well as i compare nurses salaries in Finland and Kenya with a short mention of the differences in wages, working conditions, taxes, and the cost of living. Nursing is an important profession in both countries, but salaries can vary significantly depending on experience, qualifications, job responsibilities, and whether you work in the public or private sector. As a Kenyan living in Finland, I want to look beyond the numbers and discuss what these salary differences actually mean in everyday life. Does earning more money automatically mean having a better quality of life? How much do taxes, rent, food, and other expenses affect what nurses can afford? We will also discuss what Kenyan nurses should consider before moving to Finland for work, including professional qualifications, recognition of nursing credentials, language requirements, and the practical challenges of settling in a new country. If you are a nurse in Finland or Kenya, considering working abroad, or simply curious about the differences between these two countries, this video is for you!
