San Elijo Hills Trails - Poison Oak

Another favorite, from my house down Questhaven Road to the turnoff for Sage Hill Preserve. It starts on an unnamed trail and then crosses over the Annie's Descent for a few feet before making a hard left on Poison Oak. This trail is beautiful, following alongside a creek through some fairly dense trees. I stop and show a little waterfall and pool and decide whether to cross the mud pit or go around. Then back up Annie's Descent and off on a couple of side trails before returning home.
