MC Racing 189 CSCC Thruxton 6th May 2023

Classic Sports Car Club Race weekend at Thruxton 6th May 2023 What a weekend, experiencing the real highs and lows of motorsport. A late qualifying on Saturday looked promising to miss the bad weather, unfortunately this want to be, caught in a torrential downpour we went out for the mandatory 3 laps, unfortunately on the cool down lap, the car aquaplaned and hit the inside barrier at Allard. Cue a 4 hour operation to get the car back and race worthy, the CSCC paddock really showing the sort of comradery most other series could only dream of, and our sponsors Onamission Honda organising parts to arrive at the track. With 5 minutes left to go we made it to the assembly area for the last race of the day.
