Bowfin madness on lures and cut bait

This was a 2-day camping trip to Lake Champlain trib in search of pike, gar, and bowfin. I think everything I catch is a gar until it’s not 😩. Great trip, congrats Papi and Isaac on their first bowfins (Isaac got 4!) Casting set ups are a daiwa tatula combo, and a ‪@majorcrafttube‬ 4 piece travel rod with a Calcutta. The chunking rod is a ‪@catchthefever‬ stealth and a picifun alijos with the bait clicker. #bowfinfishing #bowfin #prehistoricfish #pikefishing
