Let's Talk About FIXED (Movie Review)

Animation veteran Genndy Tartakovsky is back with another animated film, a foul mouthed, R rated animated comedy called "Fixed" about a dog who tries to run from his impending neutering procedure. After the success of Tartakovsky's work on "Samurai Jack", "Dexter's Laboratory", "Primal", and the "Hotel Transylvania" films, he is back with what is termed as his passion project, which had a long and difficult road within development and finally landed a release on Netflix later this month. With a lot of negativity surrounding the film before it even releases, and many influencers making videos and claims about the film bashing the material before they see it, I decided to give my honest thoughts about "Fixed" as a movie, and whether it succeeds as a genuine passion project that advances the animation medium forward or falls into lackluster category. "Fixed" is streaming on Netflix August 13th! Still images provided courtesy of Netflix.
