A Fancy (don’t miss the end !) by John Dowland. Göran Söllscher 11-str guitar

John Dowland (1563-1626) A Fancy,no 73 in Diana Poultons Collected Lute Music of John Dowland. Of all his Fantasias this is maybe the one with the most spectacular ending, including tremolo and other, for that time, unusual ’tricks’. Dowlands name is not mentioned in the manuscript but I think no one else could have written this brilliant piece. I play an 11-str alto guitar made by Georg Bolin in 1974 https://goransollscher.com
