DCS F-16C BFM vs Su27 - Nellis TACAN approach

AFTER ACTION REPORT — DACT TRAINING SORTIE F-16C vs. Su-27 — Nellis AFB Range Complex, Nevada Simulated in DCS World | DCS Competence Center (DCSCC) Mission: Dissimilar Air Combat Training (DACT), low-level Basic Fighter Maneuvers (BFM) vs. Adversary Air (Su-27 Flanker), Nellis AFB range airspace. Engagement Summary: Following weapons employment authorization, mishap-free BFM engagement was conducted at very low altitude against a maneuvering Su-27 adversary. Blue Air (F-16C) achieved a gun tracking solution and scored a simulated guns kill, terminating the engagement. RTB / Recovery: Following engagement termination, F-16C proceeded to Nellis AFB via High TACAN Z approach. On final, a traffic conflict on the field required ATC to issue a go-around instruction; the go-around was flown without incident, followed by an uneventful recovery and landing.
