This Event Exposed Big Problems With The Factory

The recent AIC Factory event in Arknights: Endfield has ended & I will say it is one of those events that really showcase the feeling of afk gameplay, because what average gacha player doesn’t love being rewarded for doing nothing. Now of course there’s the initial input of the player having to set up their factory, just to produce the gourds to then sell to obtain the event currency to clean out the shop over the course of the event duration. That’s all fine in itself, put in the short term effort of an hour or 2 to set up the factory (unless you’re using factory guides) and reap the long term rewards for the next 2 weeks… but during my experience with this event, I spotted issues that not only felt annoying and out of touch, but can become much worse in the long run on the assumption that this type of event reruns without any significant overhauling or change.
