/ENG below/ Droga Transfogaraska lub Trasa Transfogaraska (rum. Transfăgărășan) to nazwa drogi krajowej DN7C w Rumunii (rum. Drum național 7C, DN7C), prowadzi ona przez malownicze pasmo górskie Karpat Południowych i była ostatnim celem naszej motocyklowej przygody ACT (AdventureCountryTracks) w Rumunii. Po Transalpinie jest drugą pod względem wysokości drogą kołową Rumunii, bowiem w tunelu nieopodal jeziora Bâlea osiąga wysokość 2042 m n.p.m. Droga została wybudowana w latach 1970–1974 na polecenie Nicolae Ceaușescu, który chciał zapewnić sobie szybki transfer przez góry w przypadku sowieckiej inwazji. Najbardziej spektakularnie prezentuje się północny odcinek drogi, przechodzący przez polodowcową dolinę nieopodal jeziora Bâlea. Po nocy spędzonej w górskim schronisku położonym nad brzegiem jeziorem Lacul Balea, dzień rozpoczęliśmy od zjazdu w dół doliny. Zapraszamy na wspomnienie z ACT Romania , którą to trasę przemierzaliśmy legendarną Honda Africa Twin Adventure Sports ES 2024 DCT. #afrikatwin #actromania2024 The Transfagarasan Road or Transfagarasan Route (Romanian: Transfăgărășan) is the name of the national road DN7C in Romania (Romanian: Drum național 7C, DN7C), which leads through the picturesque mountain range of the Southern Carpathians and was the last destination of our ACT (AdventureCountryTracks) motorcycle adventure in Romania. After the Transalpina, it is the second highest road in Romania, because in the tunnel near Lake Balea it reaches an altitude of 2,042 m above sea level. The road was built between 1970 and 1974 on the orders of Nicolae Ceaușescu, who wanted to ensure a quick transfer through the mountains in the event of a Soviet invasion. The northern section of the road, passing through a glacial valley near Lake Balea, is the most spectacular. After a night in a mountain shelter on the shores of Lake Lacul Balea, we started the day by descending down the valley.
