We are attempting a full phone restoration on a Samsung Galaxy J2 I destroyed three years ago. This device spent years in a drawer as total e-waste, completely bent and non-functional. To bring it back, we are performing a complete donor swap and installing a brand new display assembly. It is a messy process, but clearing out years of dust is part of the job when tackling a smashed phone. For those interested in tech repair, this project shows exactly what is involved in reviving forgotten hardware. We test if this budget handset can boot up again or if the damage was too severe to overcome.
