[Last To Refurbish] SBST Refurbished C751A Set 7043/7044 From Sengkang to Little India MRT Station

Date Filmed: 12 October 2026 Ever Since The First C751A Set 7013/7014 Was The First C751A To Be Refurbished, It Took About Few Months and Years To Upgrade All The 25 Trains. The C751A Trains Were The First Generation To Go Refurbishment Since They Begin Running On The North East Line Since 2003 When It First Opened From 20 June. As 23 Years Has Pass, All The C751A Trains Have Finish Going Upgrading Works Which Includes Improvement Parts Of The Train Or The Body Part. As The C751A Trains Were The Only Generation Last Time For The North East Line, More Of The Other Two Rolling Stocks, The C751C & C851E Were Being Called To Serve For The North East Line To Meet Future Demand, But To Also Increase The Train Capacity During The Peak Hour Period On The Mass Rapid Transit North East Line. There Are Currently 49 Trains Being Serve On The North East Line As The Additional 24 Trains Were 18 C751C & 6 C851E. Before The Upgrading Of The C751A, The C751A Trains Use To Have Different Handrails Position, Meaning That The Handrails Position Beside The Train Door Were Being Removed Back In End-2013 Or Early-2014. The Old Train Last Time Have Old Flooring, But It Doesn't Have The Electronic Panels Back Then Before The Trains Were Being Then Upgraded. Furthermore, The Trains Use To Have Blue & Gold Color Seat Layout Which Feature 7 Of Them In Each Car. Although I Didn't Record The Non-Upgraded Train, I Still Feel Like I Love The Refurbished C751A Trains Because The C751A Trains Were Freshly Being Made Once Again. As The First Refurbished C751A Have Gone Testing Phase After Upgrading The Interior Of The Train In The End Of 2021, The Mainline Trial Have Began On The Entire North East Line After Service Hours Has Ended For The Day Period. So The First Upgraded C751A Was In Service On 28/02/2022. While The First C751A Upgraded Train Has Began Passenger Service, The Other Trains Were Still Not Upgraded Yet Until In The October 2022, The Other Trainset 7009/7010 Was Being The Second C751A To Refurbished Debut. Followed By More C751A, The Other Trains Of The C751A Continued To Upgrade Slowly As The Time Have Passes By. It Took About Some Time For The C751A To Test Because Of The New Parts Of The Refurbished C751A. This Was Because The C751A Trains With The Upgraded Part Is To Ensure That Everything Would Fit Well Before The Official Passenger Service Can Be Use For The Whole Entire North East Line. Sometimes, The C751A Trains Can Be Common If The Upgraded C751A Were Happen To Do Meetup At One Of The North East Line MRT Stations. Not All Of The C751A Would Be In Service Since LTA Can Only Do One C751A Upgrading At The Time. Now In 2026, The C751A Trains Have Finish Fully The Upgrading Period, It Would Be Very Common To See It Since It You Get To See It Either In The Off-Peak Period, It Would Be Great But Seeing It During The Peak Hour Period Can Only Be Great Too But The Problem Is That The Train Would Be Crowded During The Peak Hour Period. So To Get Suitable Of The Upgraded C751A Train, You Can Board Fresh Empty Train At Sengkang If You Reach Around 4 To 5 PM. This Is Because The Sengkang MRT Station For The North East Line Is Right Beside The Sengkang Depot. So Because Of That, The Trains Can Exit The Sengkang Depot and Heads Right To The Direction Travel Of Punggol Coast. Once Boarded, The Train Would Be Very Empty For Most Of The Time Since Not Much People Will Board There As Some Might Come Home Slightly Later For Those Who Came From The City Centre Or From The CBD Area. When I Took This Trainset 7043/7044 Which I Have Finally Catch It After I Couldn't Ride It, I Was Quite Happy About It. This Trainset Have Re-Enter Service Since 23 February 2026 Which The Last C751A To Upgrades Seems To Be Much More Cleaner! Overall, I Will Rate It 100/100 Since The Train Was Much Newer. This Includes To The Brighter LED Light, Strong Aircon, Working LCD DRMD Screen and Celling Level Indicator Display!
