Discovering Surat Thani: Thailand’s Underrated Gem 🇹🇭

We started our day by visiting the very local and best kept secret in Surat Thani, the amazing Ban Nam Rad springs. We were the only tourists there. We had a great swim and a boat ride up the beautiful river before having a tasty lunch cooked by a local in the food market outside the springs. We headed to Surat Thani city and checked into our hotel for a quick swim and then onto the Saturday night market which overlooked the beautiful coloured lights of the Sri Tapee Bridge. We explored the markets and bought some clothes and were amazed by the variety of tasty food we tried. A must for any traveller who visits Thailand. Surat Thani the gateway to Ko Sumui.
