Katie Tupper: Live Concert | CBC Music Live

With her soulful sound and captivating energy, Saskatchewan singer-songwriter Katie Tupper (‪@KatieTupper‬) leaves the Mod Club crowd in a trance as she delivers an electric set from start to finish. The lights go up, and Tupper steps onto the stage with an ethereal presence, instantly bringing the crowd into her calm and mesmerizing orbit, as her vocals float across the room with the opening notes of Disappear. Calm and captivated, the audience instantly matches her energy as they gently sway to the beat, immersing themselves in the jazz-infused soundscape and keeping the ambient vibe mellow. Tupper builds up the evening with some higher-energy tempos in the form of Right Hand Man and Original Thoughts, while keeping the hypnotic groove a running constant. From the sultry tones of Whitney and Safe Ground to the catchy and country-infused chorus of Tennessee Heat, there is a raw, magnetic energy and aura emanating from Tupper that has her owning the stage from start to finish, and through all the melodic highs and lows. Bringing the night to a close with an epic encore of Cowboy Lullaby and Jeans (Fall On My Knees), everyone is left wanting just one more song, with chants filling the Mod Club and following Katie as she exits stage left, the band playing her out.
