A hundred Rick and Morty facts, ordered from the ones almost nobody knows to the ones everybody does: Channel 101, the Doc and Mharti short, Operation Phoenix, the Central Finite Curve, Rick Prime, Simple Rick, the Szechuan sauce and Wubba Lubba Dub Dub.
Most fact lists start with what you already know and run out of steam; this one starts where nobody was looking and ends on the things you have seen a hundred times without once looking at them.
The list runs from the festival where Dan Harmon's short films were voted on by a room of strangers, through the discarded animatic of A Rickle in Time where Summer knocks Rick out instead of Morty, the working QR code on the metal funnel Rick wears as a hat, the beer brand that keeps turning up in the background and is never once spoken aloud, and the Jerryboree receipt whose number turns out to be a dimension. It goes on through who actually kills whom in this show — Krombopulos Michael, Fart, Rick himself — and through the order of Rick's own story, where the refusal comes before the bomb and the portal gun is finished afterwards. It ends on the obvious ones: the garage, the pickle, the burp, the flask, and Birdperson translating the catchphrase into "I am in great pain. Please help me."
If you'd rather fall asleep to a hundred small facts than to one long argument, subscribe.
Tell me in the comments where you're listening from and what time it is there. I read all of them.

Production history of "A Rickle in Time" — the version labelled Attempt One, the sixty-four simultaneous realities, the frame that took nearly fourteen hours to render — reaches this episode through the Wikipedia article on that episode, which is itself a summary of the Blu-ray commentary (Warner Home Video, June 2016). Nothing outside that page independently confirms those figures. The contents of the discarded animatic itself — Summer knocking Rick out, the support agent, the hugs — come from the fan-wiki write-up of the disc extras, which is a second place and a weaker one. Both are said out loud in the episode, because that chapter stands on thinner ground than the rest of it.
Ryan Elder on the theme tune written for the rejected pilot Dog World, and on the home studio the score is made in — Sound on Sound, and IndieWire.
John Schwarz on the working QR code printed on the cone Rick wears in the fourth season — Bubbleblabber, 18 November 2019. Named in the episode, because that write-up is how anybody knows the code resolves at all.
Dan Harmon on what Mr Poopybutthole is — given to CinemaBlend in 2017 and reaching this episode through a Screen Rant write-up rather than the interview itself. The episode says so where it uses it.
The Szechuan sauce promotion, the petition and the resale price — Wikipedia's account of the third season.

Pitchfork's description of Elliott Smith's "Between the Bars" reaches this episode through a reprint rather than from Pitchfork itself, and is quoted in the episode with that caveat.
