Blasphemous is a Metroidvania, Hack & Slay, Soulslike, developed by the Spanish studio "The Game Kitchen" and published by Team17. In Blasphemous you play as "The Penitent One" a member of the Brotherhood of the Silent Sorrow and thus your penance is silence. We traverse through various areas of the land of Cvstodia, a land that has been blessed by the Miracle, a faith born from the first guilt of the father, the Twisted One. Though is the Miracle truly a blessing, or is it a curse in disguise, one who feeds of the guilt of the believers and turns them into twisted beings by their guilt? Where does it come from and what lies beyond and what is has it to do with the High Wills?
