We did the journey in December 2025. On day 1, we took the route: Hyderabad - Solapur - Sangli - Kolhapur. It took us 8 hours to reach Kolhapur. Stayed in Kolhapur at Home Away From Home homestay. We highly recommend this homestay if you are coming to Kolhapur. It is pet-frinedly as well. On day 2, we started from Kolhapur and took the route Kolhapur - Amboli - Sawantwadi - Goa. This journey was around 5.5 hours. You can also do this journey in one day (13-14 hours total). But since we had Rio with us, we did a break journey. Most of this journey is along National Highways, which are covered in Annual Toll Pass. Before this journey, we also had to replace our car's windshield, and thus replace the Fasttag. We ported the Annual Toll pass to the new Fasttag in the Rajmargyatra app, and it worked absolutely fine. About the road conditions on this route, the roads were good in most cases, except for some areas near Naldurg where contruction work is going on. And on NH66 near Goa, there are a lot of diversions and construction work. In Goa, we stayed for 4 days 3 night at ITC Grand Goa. And we did a lot of sighseeing around South Goa.
