Gran Turismo 5 - Playthrough Part 7 - Truck Cup, Classic Muscle Cup and Muscle Car Cup

Gran Turismo 7 is coming out in March 2022, so I want to try to get a good amount of completion in all of the previous Gran Turismo games until then. Here you can see me completing the Sport Truck Cup, Classic Muscle Cup and Muscle Car Cup in Gran Turismo 5. After that I moved to PC though, so I never got to play GT 4-6. Before GT7 I want to try to revisit GT 1-3 and also play through GT 4-6 for the first time. I am not sure if I will manage to get all of it done but I will see how far I can get. In this video I am finally having some close races in GT5. For the Truck Cup I am using the Chevrolet SSR, which can win on Laguna without upgrades but definitely needs some tuning on Daytona. In the Classic Muscle Car race you can have some very nice competition by picking the Corvette '69 without upgrades. This is also my first race on Monza in my GT playthroughs. Finally for the Muscle Car Cup I am using the iconic Corvette Grand Sport, which was already in Gran Turismo 1 as one of the few non-Japanese cars in that game. For this cup I sadly installed a few too many upgrades after the close races in the previous ones. I should have skipped the two manifold parts. Overall this video has my most interesting GT5 races so far though. As reward cars we are getting a Midget, a Challenger and the "Special". In my next GT5 video I will complete several more events.
