Reflections on having Heart Surgery. (Transcatheter pulmonary valve replacement)

Recently had my pulmonary heart valve replaced and 5 stents put in on my pulmonary conduit. Recovery was tough for the first week. I could barely walk more than a few steps because there was so much pain around the 2 incisions with the darkest and largest bruises I have ever seen. Thankfully each day I felt better and better and I am amazed how God healed my body through the process. Although it wasn't as difficult as open heart surgery, it was definitely a sober reminder of how fragile life can be.
