The Shaik Faiz Kaman to Dabeerpura Flyover/Darwaza road widening project is an ongoing infrastructure initiative in Hyderabad's Old City to widen the busy stretch to 60 feet, reduce traffic congestion, and improve connectivity. Project Overview & Status • Scope: Widening the corridor from Shaik Faiz Ki Kaman to Dabeerpura Darwaza/Flyover into a proposed 60-feet wide road. • Executing Agency: Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) under its Infrastructure Improvement Programme. • Current Progress (As of late 2026): Local AIMIM leadership and GHMC officials have reviewed ground-level work, noting that property acquisition, demolitions of affected structures, documentation processing, and electrical pole shifting are actively underway. • Compensation: Over ₹10.21 crore in compensation has been disbursed to affected property owners along this stretch and neighboring Naga Bowli to fast-track land clearance.
