Christ Himself Pleads for Us | A Celestial Anthem of Living Mercy

“Christ himself pleads for us” returns again and again, giving the whole song a single center of gravity. Its repeated proclamation leaves less room for the anxious accounting of what we have brought or done. God is the one who justifies; Christ's living mercy does not cease. The final repetitions stay with that assurance rather than searching for another answer.
