The rise of false Christianity, prophetic deception, and the last-days church! | Dr. Andy Woods

ARE WE WATCHING THE GREAT DECEPTION TAKE SHAPE? | Dr. Andy Woods | Everything Under the Son Is the church prepared for the deception coming in the last days? Are Christians being led astray by false doctrines, sensationalized Bible prophecy, and movements that look spiritual but may be leading people away from biblical truth? In this eye-opening episode of Everything Under the Son, Kelly and Beth welcome back Bible prophecy teacher, author, and theologian Dr. Andy Woods for an in-depth conversation about the growing spiritual deception within the church, the prophetic landscape, and what believers need to understand as we approach the return of Jesus Christ. From the rise of false Christianity and questionable prophetic teachings to the growing influence of Calvinism and the New Apostolic Reformation, this conversation tackles some of the most controversial issues facing the modern church. Dr. Woods explains why believers must be discerning, why biblical prophecy should never be sensationalized, and why understanding sound biblical doctrine is essential to recognizing deception. We also take a closer look at the Middle East and the prophetic significance of Israel, Russia, Iran, Turkey, and the alliances described in Ezekiel 38–39. Could the developments unfolding around Israel be aligning with what Scripture foretold thousands of years ago? IN THIS EPISODE, WE DISCUSS: • The changing political and spiritual landscape and what it could mean for Christians. • Preparing the next generation for persecution and standing firm in their faith. • The rise of false teachings and sensationalized Bible prophecy. • How to recognize false prophetic claims and avoid taking Scripture out of context. • Calvinism and the five points of TULIP: What do these doctrines actually teach? • The dangers of confusing biblical truth with man's theological interpretations. • Why the church needs to teach the entire counsel of God, including the book of Revelation. • The New Apostolic Reformation (NAR), modern-day apostles, and the Seven Mountains Mandate. • Are dreams, visions, and rapture dreams a form of extra-biblical revelation? • Why Christians must test spiritual experiences against Scripture. • The prophetic significance of Israel and the Middle East. • Ezekiel 38–39, Russia, Iran, Turkey, and the nations surrounding Israel. • The possibility of ten global regions and their connection to end-times prophecy. • The growing influence of anti-Semitism and its prophetic implications. • How to recognize spiritual deception and remain grounded in biblical truth. One of the most important takeaways from this conversation is that not everything that looks spiritual comes from God, and not everything presented as Bible prophecy is actually biblical. We must know God's Word, test what we hear, and refuse to go beyond what Scripture teaches. As deception increases, biblical discernment becomes more important than ever. Are we seeing the foundations of end-times deception taking shape? Is the modern church prepared for what lies ahead? And are believers equipped to recognize the difference between biblical truth and spiritual counterfeits? Watch, listen, and study along with us! ABOUT OUR GUEST: DR.
