The Brightest Fell | Calm Viking Duet | Authentic Norse Myth Ballad

The Brightest Fell | Calm Viking Duet | Authentic Norse Myth Ballad The Brightest Fell — Frigg asked every stone and fire and sea to swear. Every iron, every sickness, every snake. Everything said yes. Except the young mistletoe — too small to notice. Loki noticed. Blind Höðr threw what Loki placed into his hand. Baldr fell. Nanna followed. Hermóðr rode Sleipnir nine nights to Hel's hall to beg him back. Hel said: weep all things. Everything wept — except one giantess who sat dry and still. An authentic Norse ballad of Baldr's death — the greatest tragedy in Norse mythology, the moment that set Ragnarök in motion, and the quiet promise that after the world ends the brightest light returns. Tell Frigg he is not lost. Only early. 🎵 The Allfather Speaks →    / .  . 🎵 Hel's River →    / .  . 🎵 Freya's Gold →    / .  . #vikingmusic #baldr #norse mythology #vikingduet #ravenhold Ravenhold — atmospheric viking music born from fire, frost and forgotten fjords.
