Flying non-rev (Non-revenue....so cheap or free) isn't for everyone. Normally it is easier during non-busy times of the year. Attempting to fly to another continent....during Spring Break.....is a little nutty....but it was an adventure. 00:00 Opening 00:19 Family driving to DFW airport 3:56 Missing flights right off the bat...but there is hope 7:18 Priority Pass and maybe making the direct DFW-SYD flight 8:44 Headed to LAX instead 10:39 Exploring LAX, In-N-Out and Waymo 14:30 Headed back to LAX 15:56 We got seats! 16:22 Boarding an Airbus A380 and flight to Sydney 18:31 Arriving at SYD and transport to hotel 20:04 W hotel check in and exploring Sydney 21:10 Finally getting into the room 22:19 Day 2 in Sydney.
