London Waterloo is the main terminus for all South Western Railway mainline services from of Basingstoke, Winchester, Portsmouth, Southampton, Weymouth, Poole, Exeter and Salisbury as well as being the terminus of South Western Railway's suburban services from: Windsor, Reading, Weybridge, Shepperton, Kingston, Chessington South, Dorking and Guildford
The station is managed by Network Rail.
Like most other London Terminals the station is served by the London Underground network and more specifically the Bakerloo, Jubilee, Northern and Waterloo and City Lines
The station also at one point used to be part of the Eurostar network with services starting hear heading towards Paris and Brussels; this being before the commission of London St Pancras International services. These old Eurostar platforms here at Waterloo are now used for South Western Railway services to/from Reading and Windsor.
South Western Railway mainline services at the most recent time of filming were operated with a mix of Class 444 and Class 450 Electric Multiple Units as well as Class 158 and Class 159 Diesel Multiple Units which are specifically being used on the Salisbury and Exeter services.
South Western Railway suburban services at the most recent time of filming were operated with a mix of Class 450, 458 and Class 701 Electric Multiple Units, Class 455 Electric Multiple Unit's were used on these services also up until March 2026,
