Wedge Pillowcase / Euro Sham Cover Sew-Along

I am new to sewing, and a custom wedge pillowcase cover was near the top of my project list! My humble and disabled EDS hands made these custom wedge pillowcases, using Euro Sham pillowcase covers as a template. This is a simple project for anyone new to sewing, and it helps develop confidence getting your seams straight and properly feeding the fabric through the sewing machine. We all love a quick home decor DIY, right? Measurements: Wedge pillow - 22” wide x 25” long x 7” high Bottom (short) side of pillowcase - Top (long) side of pillowcase (including envelope closure) - Envelope closure measures - Instructions: With right sides together, straight stitch the bottom edge and two side edges with 5/8” seam allowance at 10 spi / 2.5mm stitch length. Leave enough length open at the sides to allow for the envelope closure to later be stitched into these side seams. Fold over the top edge of the bottom (short) side 1/4” and press flat. Fold this edge over again and use a straight stitch to close the seam. Fold over the top edge of the top (long) side and mark a line 3“ above the edge of the finished bottom (short) side.
