Aberystwyth Silver Band: Music for Jock Tamson, an original suite in 3 movements by Alan Fernie Mvt2

Second movement: Inchkeith JOCK TAMSON - a Scottish name explained....... The phrase more often occurs in an extended form: We're a' Jock Tamson's bairns. This is interpreted in a metaphorical sense as a statement of egalitarian sentiments equivalent to "we're all the same under the skin" or "we are all God's children". i.e. This is music for EVERYONE ! Video: Jan Foy We apologise for the focus issues on this video but we hope you can enjoy the music. Alan Fernie Workshop and Concert Saturday 10th February 2024 Aberystwyth Arts Centre
