Blues Etude - I play it, you learn it by ear.

Link to PDF and blog post: https://mattotto.org/lesson-175-learn... I play each phrase of this Blues Etude slowly so you can learn the whole chorus completely by ear. This is great ear training without it being too difficult. You can pause the video and practice each line until it's comfortable. I talk about the theory behind the notes including Diminished scale triad pairs, Altered scale triad pairs, #9, b9, #11, #5, 9, 13 and all tension types, clichés, turn around, and 2 - 5 - 1 material. You can visit mattotto.org for a PDF of the Etude but I encourage you to learn it by ear and let the muscle memory grow slowly through audiation and slow repetition.
