My friend in Pin Up Model, Seattle, joins us to make a cocktail from the Chicago Don the Beachcomber in the 1960s. —————————————— Beachcomber's Punch ½ oz white grapefruit juice ½ oz fresh lime juice ½ oz simple syrup ½ oz apricot brandy 1½ oz Demerara rum I dash Angostura 6 drops Pernod (or absinthe) Put everything in a blender. Blend at high speed for 6-8 seconds. Pour unstrained into a pilsner glass, adding more crushed ice to fill.
