I tried to make the roundest pufferfish

It will work or it won’t work, that’s what I was thinking when I decided to make this cute predatory fish, the pufferfish. Today I’m sharing my needle felting experience of how I created this puffer fish using only wool, a needle, and a lot of patience. This project is one example of 3D felting, where you slowly build up volume and shape by repeatedly needle felting, layer by layer, until a flat lump of wool turns into a three-dimensional felted sculpture. As a craft, needle felting teaches incredible patience, but the reward is a soft, tactile felt sculpture that you simply can’t achieve with any other technique. This is exactly the type of DIY felting project I love to create for the @Feltiaria Studio channel, as it shows how many interesting ideas can be created with wool.
