Trail 56 - Gatineau Park, Quebec. Taylor Lake to Ramsay Lake Mountain Biking.

This is a great trail that passes alongside a few really beautiful lakes: Lac Taylor, Lac de la Vase, Lac Kidder, and then Lac Ramsay where the trail comes out at Chemin Eardely Masham. Because of current COVID-19 closures, we parked P19 near Lac Philippe. From there we biked out along the closed, gravel roads to the Taylor Lake campsite and then onto trail 56. This ride is pretty tame besides one bigger climb about halfway through the trail. It isn't rough or technical so you can do this on almost any bike: we used my full suspension trail bike and fully rigid commuter for this ride and both handled the trail fine. There's a really fun, pretty long descent as you come down to Lac Kidder. There was a bear in the area that day so unfortunately we didn't go up to the lookout that goes south off of trail 56. Hope you enjoy!
