This is the first video of a three-part series where I teach you in depth how to make a ball-jointed amigurumi doll. I was especially inspired by Xixi Dolls @xixicustomized on TikTok and Instagram, as well as Lulu @lululand933 on TikTok. I completely fell in love with those dolls and was heartbroken when I saw no adaptation for crochet, so I said, what the heck, I’ll do it myself and here it is! This step-by-step crochet tutorial will teach you how to make a 27 cm base doll, jointed at the shoulders, elbows, hips, and knees! This is meant to be a base for you to customize as any character you like, but please, if you do create a character, give me some credit for working my head off trying to figure out the pattern for you!
