#ମା’_ମାଣିକେଶ୍ୱରୀଙ୍କ_ପୀଠରେ_ନବାନ୍ନ_ଲାଗି ଗଡ଼ଜାତରେ ଆଜି ନୂଆଁଖାଇ। ପଶ୍ଚିମ ଓଡ଼ିଶାରେ ନୂଆଁଖାଇ ପର୍ବ ସରିଥିଲେ ମଧ୍ୟ କଳାହାଣ୍ଡି ଜିଲ୍ଲାରେ ଏବେ ବି ଜାରି ରହିଛି ଉତ୍ସବର ମାହୋଲ । କଳାହାଣ୍ଡିରେ ପ୍ରତିପଦାଠାରୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରି ଦଶହରା ଦଶମୀ ପର୍ୟ୍ୟନ୍ତ ପର୍ୟ୍ୟାୟକ୍ରମେ ନୂଆଁଖାଇ ପାଳନ କରାଯାଏ । Kalahandi Nuakhai Festival continues the traditional celebration of Nuakhai in the Gadjat region, even after the main festival has concluded in much of western Odisha. In Kalahandi, Nuakhai is observed in phases from Pratipada through Vijayadashami, following local traditions. Today, Nabanna will be offered to the presiding deity, Maa Manikeswari, during the auspicious time between 8:20 AM and 9:30 AM. After the ritual, people across important Gadjat areas including Lanjigarh, Jayapatna, Bhawanipatna, Madanpur-Rampur and Thuamul Rampur will celebrate Nuakhai with traditional customs. Families will offer the new harvest to their household deities before sitting together for the first meal of the new crop. Kheer, puri and traditional pitha preparations, along with Juhar Bhet and cultural performances, will add to the festive atmosphere.
