Meredith Moon - The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald (Daughter of Gordon Lightfoot - 50th Anniversary)

Meredith Moon and Tony Allen perform The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald for the 50th anniversary of the sinking on November 9th 2025 at the Valentine Theatre in Toledo, Ohio. This event was put together with the help of the National Museum of the Great Lakes. Together they commemorate and honor both the loss of the ship and her crew, as well as her late father Gordon Lightfoot who passed away in 2023. This is her first live performance of the song, which she learned just for this event. Moon and Allen both performed with Lightfoot on his final “80 Years Strong Tour”.
