Hundreds of community members, maidens and AmaZulu warriors have started to arrive at Isandlwana in Nquthu in northern KwaZulu-Natal. This is for today's commemoration of the Battle of Isandlwana commemoration. The Zulus defeated the British army on this day in 1879 at Isandlwana mountain. It was under the command of the Zulu King at the time, King Cetshwayo. Members of the Zulu Royal family, government dignitaries and cultural experts are expected to attend the commemoration.
