SCHERRER PROVES CONTROVERSIAL Paris Haute Couture fashion continued with Stephane Rollad's collection for Jean-Louis Scherrer. The show proved controversial when the bride, who traditionally closes a couture show, emerged in a gold and black gown under the punishing catwalk lights and blaring music, with a newborn baby in her arms. The rest of the collection, was a throwback to the heyday of disco with silver sequined trousers and glistening gold trench coats. Suits with bermuda shorts also had a 1970s feel.
