After travelling back home to Cardiff for the big one, there was a real feeling that this was going to be a special night — and it certainly didn’t disappoint! Wrexham got off to the perfect start, taking the lead after just three minutes through former Bluebird Kieffer Moore, leaving Cardiff with a mountain to climb. The Bluebirds battled away throughout the night, creating chances and refusing to give up, but it looked like Wrexham were going to leave Cardiff with all three points. Then came the moment we’ll be talking about for a long time… 98th minute. Rubin Colwill. Free-kick. GOAL! 🤯💙 The celebrations were absolutely unreal as Cardiff snatched a dramatic 1-1 draw with virtually the last kick of the game. A point that felt like a win after the way the game had unfolded, and a brilliant way to mark Cardiff’s return to the Championship. For me, travelling back home to Cardiff for a night like this made it even more special. The atmosphere, the noise, the tension and that unbelievable late equaliser — this is exactly what going to the football is all about.
