BACK TO BACK TROPHIES! $600 Legacy Mono Blue Control with NO RESERVE LIST cards. MTG MTGO League

This is the second trophy I won in a row with my $600 Mono Blue Control Legacy deck. The first league video is already live on my channel. You can watch it after you watch this one ;) Between the two leagues, I only lost 3 games total. Note that in this second league, I removed Planisphere in favor of Tamiyo, and I'm now convinced Tamiyo is a better fit. Dismember is absolutely fine as removal. Dress down is super strong as well. And Brazen Borrower continues to be one of the best creatures ever printed, buying me time to pull ahead on material, or jumping in real quick to close against The One Ring. I often went up to 6 or 7 islands during a game, but it was nice having Murk to close games early if I really needed to. If you are an aspiring control player on a budget, or a modern player trying to get into Legacy, I cannot recommend this deck highly enough. The only non-modern cards are the forces, Mystic Sanctuary, and the Back to Basics. This deck will teach you everything you need to know about control: how to stop combo, how to tread water against aggro, how to switch from being control to being the beatdown deck when you're no longer favored in a long game. Love it. This is a full legacy MTGO league with live commentary. This channel is fine to watch with your kids. I make a point to not say anything I wouldn't want my kids to hear. We're just here to tap some iconic lands, cast some iconic spells, and enjoy Legacy – the deepest format of the deepest card game ever created. Leave a comment with a timestamp if you see me make any questionable plays, or catch any punts that I don't catch. This not only helps me get better – it helps everyone else get better, too.
