Inbound Logistics Inbound logistics is the inward flow of tools, equipment, and material from suppliers to the manufacturers or warehouses set up by an organisation. 2.) Outbound Logistics It is the process under which finished goods are transported to the warehouses or wholesalers or retailers to provide them to the ultimate consumer. 3.) Procurement Logistics Procurement involves some set of activities starting from shortlisting of suppliers, negotiation, order processing and receiving material at the minimum possible cost. 4.) Production Logistics It ensures that each machine and worker get sufficient raw material so that work does not stop. 5.) Emergency Logistics Emergency logistics means the supply of raw material, tools and equipment at the time of emergency. The organization must have a backup or alternative plan to procure and transport material in case of an emergency. 6.) Reverse Logistics Reverse logistics is a process that includes the flow of goods from customers to the manufacturer or suppliers.
