Is Kawasan Canyoneering ACTUALLY Worth the Hype? 🇵🇭

In this MJD2 Waypoints video, I headed south from Mactan for an early-morning stop in Oslob to see the whale sharks before taking on the full Kawasan canyoneering experience in Badian, Cebu. From the zipline and turquoise water to climbing wet rocks, swimming through the canyon, bigger jumps, exhaustion and finally reaching Kawasan Falls — I wanted to see what the entire experience actually feels like and answer one question: Is Kawasan canyoneering actually worth the hype? Our original South Cebu plan was also supposed to include Moalboal, but we ran out of time. 😂 💰 PRICE REFERENCE: Kawasan full-course canyoneering is currently around ₱2,100/person from local operators. A combined Oslob + Kawasan package can be around ₱4,500/person, while private full-day South Cebu packages can cost considerably more depending on transportation, group size and inclusions.
