Getting my Copart Jaguar F-Type running was only the beginning. Now it’s time to face everything that’s still wrong with the cheapest Jaguar F-Type I could find. In Part 3, I take stock of the rebuild: damaged bodywork, missing interior trim, carpets that need replacing, a stubborn driver’s seat and sticky centre-console controls. Then there’s the engine warning light. I follow the outside temperature sensor’s wiring through the mirror, door and footwell, trying to track down what’s causing the fault. Replacement parts are finally arriving, but putting this stripped-out Jaguar back together brings its own problems—including a newer set of console switches that doesn’t work quite as planned! We’ve got it running. Now the challenge is turning it back into a car I can actually drive. Would you have taken on this rebuild? Let me know in the comments, and subscribe to follow the next stage.
