Race Week Wetsuit Disaster | Emergency Trip to Swansea Before IRONMAN Wales

Race week didn’t quite go to plan today. I was meant to be having a family day out, but after finding several rips in my wetsuit I ended up making an emergency trip to Swansea to try and sort a replacement before IRONMAN Wales. After picking up a new wetsuit, I headed back to Tenby and took it straight down to North Beach for a test swim to make sure it actually worked for me. I also managed to squeeze in a short run afterwards, so despite the unexpected detour, I still got a bit of race-week movement in. Not exactly the day I had planned — but definitely one of those age-group triathlon moments where you just have to deal with whatever gets thrown at you.
