Inside a Cat Artist’s Home with One Very Special Deaf Cat | Cat Lady Home Tour

This week, we're visiting Becca Snyder and her deaf cat Fig in their Bay Ridge apartment, where nearly every inch of wall space is covered in original cat art. Becca is a cat artist who turns her love for felines into colorful, creative paintings—some of cats she's never even met! When she spots a cat in a neighbor's window, she paints them and secretly leaves the artwork on their doorstep. Over time, this hobby has helped her build a sense of community through kindness and creativity. At the heart of it all is Fig, her curious, stroller-riding muse. From horror movie-inspired cat portraits to thoughtful reflections on animal grief and pet OCD, Becca's home is a tribute to how deeply cats shape our lives.
