Blending Sounds in Syllables to Decode Longer Words

This video gives children a strategy of how to read longer words by decoding each syllable in turn before putting the longer word together. The video includes a demonstration of a selection of two-syllable words with the chance for children to practice reading the words independently to build up their 'speedy reading' of longer words.
