5 Things I Did 'Late' in Life - and I'm so glad I did

For anyone out there who's wondering if it's 'too late' to go after the career, start the family, get married...I hope this brings you a little peace. At 39, I'm finding a whole new peace and clarity in some of the things I did 'late' or thought it was too late for me to start. I got married later. I’m thinking about motherhood on a different timeline than I imagined when I was younger. And I’ve built a career that looks very different from the one I thought I would have. For a long time, I wondered if being “behind” meant I was doing something wrong. But looking back, I’m increasingly grateful for the things I waited for. Some decisions needed more time, more self-knowledge, and more life experience before they could actually become my decisions.
