Why Police Target Supermoto Riders (And Who’s Really to Blame?)

Why do supermoto riders attract police attention so quickly – even when they are riding legally? This video looks at why Europe’s supermoto scene is so divided: controlled riding, track days and low-risk wheelies on one side; escapes, oncoming traffic and reckless stunts on the other. We compare Germany, Austria, France and Britain and ask the uncomfortable question: are police making supermoto unnecessarily difficult, or did a small group of riders create this conflict for everyone else? This is not about condemning street riding. It is about the difference between skill and ego, personal risk and danger to other people – and why officers often have to make a decision before they know what kind of rider they are dealing with.
