We just finished reacting to Season 1, Episode 2 Part 2 In this episode, the leaders had to choreograph solos for their crews to audition to be the main dancer. There was a lot of drama and tough competition as the leaders critiqued each dancer's interpretation of their choreography. Some highlights for us were Honey J completely slaying her solo choreo, and Aiki calling out dancers who didn't properly execute the details. The focus on technical execution versus performance was an interesting theme. We also noticed how the environment brought out imposter syndrome in many dancers, even established names like Gabee. It was a good reminder that everyone struggles with confidence sometimes, no matter their success. Overall it was an intense episode that showed just how personal choreography can be for dancers and choreographers. We're looking forward to seeing how the main dancers are selected in the next one!
