You wake up with eyes 100 times sharper than anyone's. You can read your neighbour's phone across the street and count an eagle's feathers from a kilometre away, but only through one spot the width of your thumb. A second-person science thought experiment about super-sharp vision: what 20/20 really measures, why eagles only beat us by a bit more than double, what you could see on the Moon, and why a brain fed by about a million optic-nerve fibres per eye might struggle with the flood. Then a beach game show, a gold coin and your little sister in the water test which kind of seeing matters. It ends with what is real: the tiny fovea, eye jumps, the quiet signs of drowning, and the physics that limits any eye. The characters, TV show, prize and rescue are fiction. Real drowning often looks quiet; if you see someone struggling, alert a lifeguard or emergency services. Could a living eye ever beat physics?
