Hot sand eel bite. Jigging for Tuna with Cape Cod Offshore

Off the coast of New England late in the summer, a large bio mass of bait-fish attract schools of hungry tuna to its shoals. Anglers deploy a variety of tactics to target these fish, my favorite being a metal jig and spinning rod setup. The bites are sick and the fights are strenuous, taking a toll on you and your gear. Targeting these fish should be on any Fishermans bucket list. Looking for a Bluefin Tuna Trip? -Reach out to Capecodoffshore and book a trip.
