Athlete's Rag - Super Mario World Piano Cover

Play at 1.1x the speed for in-game tempo. This is the most difficult arrangement I've ever done, and there is no way I could get this down at the original tempo. There is probably only a handful of individuals on this earth who possess the skill to play this theme at the correct tempo accurately. If someone asks me to play something difficult this is often my go to. The leap is my strongest attribute on piano, and I have plenty of opportunity to showcase it here! This cover originally debuted on my channel over 9 years ago (it's been that long??). It's probably a little above my skill level on piano, but I tried my darndest wrong notes and all. I know where they are, and I'm sure you could probably find them too. But out of all my takes over multiple days this one is probably the best. I didn't think it was worth continuing to refine due to diminished returns, meaning it would require an incredible amount and practice just to improve the slightest bit. I'm ready to move on to other projects. In hindsight there are some things I would like to change, but you can chase perfection forever. I visually cleaned up a lot of phantom notes given the sensitive nature of pressing a key on my digital piano. There are also a few notes I cleaned up too for you listening pleasure. And no this is not sped up, something I have been accused of before. Lots of fun to play; super frustrating to get a decent take! Subscribe for more uploads! What cover should I do next?
