What Makes BUCK∞TICK So Unique?

This is a re-edited version of a video originally published in November 2025, now with English subtitles added. It is the last of the older videos that I had always hoped to translate into English. To be honest, there are still a few others I would like to do, but many of my earlier videos suffer from poorer audio quality, and I was even less comfortable speaking on camera than I am now, so I have had to abandon the idea for most of them. The content of this video is as follows: This video is an attempt to explain what makes BUCK∞TICK such a unique and fascinating band. Rather than focusing on individual members or specific songs, I discuss the band's distinctive philosophy: their balance of strong conviction and lack of ego, their willingness to prioritize the band over themselves, and the unusual freedom that has allowed them to evolve continuously for more than 35 years. I also talk about why I recommend starting with SUBROSA and SHIBUYA HURRY UP, UP, UP! for listeners who discovered the band through recent festival appearances, and why I believe both BUCK-TICK and BUCK∞TICK deserve to be explored as parts of a single ongoing story.
